Payment Methods & Orders
Understand how payment options, transaction confirmation, failures, and refunds work.
Effective from:
1. Available payment methods
The payment methods actually available to you are shown during checkout. Options may vary by address, order value, gateway availability, or store settings.
Where enabled, options may include cash on delivery, bank cards, mobile wallets, or other payment methods supported by ShooBaby.
2. When is a payment successful?
Do not rely only on a temporary bank hold or bank message. Payment is treated as confirmed when ShooBaby receives a verifiable successful result from the payment provider and the order status updates accordingly.
3. Pending or incomplete transactions
A pending amount may appear at your bank even if checkout did not complete. This can be a temporary issuer hold rather than a final charge. If it persists or the order does not update, contact us and your bank using the transaction reference.
4. Cash on delivery
If cash on delivery is available in your area, it may be subject to order limits, fees, or phone verification. It may be unavailable for some accounts or orders where there are repeated failed deliveries or legitimate fraud risks.
5. Invoices and pricing
Keep the order confirmation or electronic invoice. If the amount differs from the final order summary, contact us before retrying payment to avoid duplicate charges.
6. Refunds
When a refund is approved, we initiate it according to the payment method and applicable policy. The time for funds to appear afterwards depends on the bank or payment provider and a delay does not necessarily mean the refund was not initiated.
7. Payment-data security
Never send your full card number, CVV, or bank verification code to support staff by message or phone. Sensitive card information is handled by the payment provider during electronic checkout.
